Book Sales
The Friends of the Jamaica Plain Branch Library (30 South St. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130) hosts Book Sales throughout the year. Our two main book sales are in May and early December. We also have an ongoing self-service book sale cart in the library and pop-up book sales during special events.

2024 Book Sale dates: May 9-11 and December 5-7
We accept donations of gently used books or DVDs throughout the year for the Annual Book Sale. Please note we do not accept textbooks, CDs or VHS tapes. Please drop donations off whenever the library is open at the Circulation Desk.
Volunteers are needed periodically throughout the year to pre-sort the books in preparation for the Sale.
We need lots of volunteers during the Book Sale itself: - to help set up the day before, to staff the sale itself and then to help with clean-up. Contact us at jplibraryfriends@gmail.com if you would like to be added to our volunteer list.
Come to the sale and choose from a huge selection of every type of book at rock-bottom prices (all the proceeds support the JP Branch).
