- Harry Potter Celebration — Thursday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. Children ages 6 and up and their families will celebrate the upcoming book and movie with butter beer, fortune-telling and wizard crafts. Please sign up in advance.
- Paintings by Maj-Britt — July 7 through 29, during library hours.
- Super Cold Science — Monday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. Children ages 6 and older will learn from staff members from the Museum of Science about what happens when temperatures really, really drop.
- Catch the Beat Preschool Storytime — Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 14-28. Children ages 2-5 will enjoy stories and music. Please sign up in advance.
- Book Discussion: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows –Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 4 p.m.
- Stories and Songs from Around the World — Thursday, Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Diane Edgecomb shares multicultural stories, songs and chants.
- Many Voices — Aug. 3-31 during library hours. An exhibit of paintings by Linda Cohen. A reception is planned for Thursday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m.
- Spanish Study group — Mondays at 4:30 p.m. Sesiones de Espanol en grupo. Todos los lunes a las 4:30 p.m.
- Punk Show — Tuesday, July 24 from 6-9 p.m. Punk show with performances by Kursk, Think, Don’t Pray and the Ruffianz.
- Last Thursdays Music Series — Thursday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. A musical performance by Luke Moldorf.
